Organic Chemistry Workshop
Course Code
CHEM 10000 97
Course Description
Organic chemistry is a critical course for many, particularly those seeking careers in the medical arts as well as an array of scientific disciplines. However, as its content is both unique and substantively distinct from many science courses that students have taken previously, it has developed a reputation as being a course that is challenging, memorization-based, and extremely hard to master.
The purpose of this course is to dispel those concerns by helping you to build skills in pattern recognition, critical thinking, and problem-solving so that you will be poised for success once your formal study of organic chemistry begins.
Each class will be focused on specific topics, with time devoted to collective solving of varied questions to provide you with training that can hopefully ensure future success.
