The University of Chicago Summer

2 Week Career Insight

Considering which paths you might follow in college and beyond? Spend two weeks at UChicago looking deeper into what could be possible when you pursue your passions!

This new offering gives students insight into academic areas of study and how to pursue careers after college. Each day for two weeks, in the morning, UChicago professors, lecturers, and researchers will introduce you to key concepts and practices you will need to know to enter your chosen field. In the afternoon, connect with practitioners through presentations, informational interviews, and career treks around the city, and with Career Advancement staff who will help you cultivate the skills you need to navigate internships and other opportunities. Along the way, you will create a portfolio drawn from the insights gained from your various experiences, as you enjoy the kinds of activities and resources available to UChicago College students and meet other pre-college students from across the country and around the world who share your interests and goals.

Students will have their choice of the following career clusters to participate in:

All tracks will run concurrently, so although you may indicate your preference for more than one of these on the application, you will only be admitted to one.
