Are you an undergraduate or postbaccalaureate student with strong quantitative skills and an interest in the financial markets? Do you enjoy tackling problems using both theoretical and applied mathematics?
The financial sectors of today need leaders who are equipped with not only a strong mathematical background but robust technical training and practical application experience. In the Summer Financial Mathematics Program (Summer FinMath) at the University of Chicago, you’ll receive an intensive introduction to innovative approaches in modern financial math.
Learn from instructors in the UChicago FinMath MS program, who will present a curriculum bringing together mathematics, statistics, and programming as they are used in areas like portfolio management and algorithmic trading. Explore various careers in quant finance through FinMath employer and alumni presentations, and return to your institution with a stronger understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing a rapidly changing quant finance industry.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, for Summer 2020, this program will be taught via remote instruction.
