Megan McNulty

Senior Lecturer, Biological Sciences Collegiate Division

Megan McNulty is a senior lecturer in the Biological Science Collegiate Division and a past winner of the University of Chicago’s Quantrell Award for Undergraduate Teaching. She is excited about the prospect of teaching this course because the immersion format “will give all of us an opportunity to delve into the very same questions neuroscientists are currently addressing using many of the same tools and methodologies. We will also be able to examine the relevant questions from a variety of perspectives, including those that intersect with disciplines outside of biology, such as social science and computer science.” She hopes that the course will help students to formulate their own answers to the question of “what sets us apart from all other living organisms and ultimately help us better address the question of ‘What makes us human?’”
