Lucas Pinheiro

PhD student in Political Science

Lucas Pinheiro is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Chicago, where his dissertation research focuses on the rise of capitalism in modern political thought. While at the University of Chicago, he has served as both an instructor and teaching assistant in the Power, Identity, and Resistance course sequence in the College’s Social Sciences Core curriculum. He has also served as a lecturer in a graduate art history seminar at the New School and a counselor in an international teen camp in Switzerland. He holds an MA from the University of Chicago, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a BA from the University of British Columbia.
