Alicia Riley

PhD student in Sociology

Alicia Riley is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Chicago, where her dissertation research focuses on the social production of health inequality. While at the University of Chicago, she has served as a teaching assistant for numerous courses in the Department of Sociology, including Trade, Development, and Poverty in Mexico and Statistical Methods for the Social Sciences. She has also led and coordinated study abroad courses in Nicaragua and Mexico, and has done consulting work in Nepal. She holds MAs from the University of Chicago and Stanford University, a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from Stanford University.
