*Taught Online*  Building on the tools and methods that are developed in the micro and macroeconomics course work, this course analyzes fiscal and monetary policy and other topical issues. We use both theoretical and empirical approaches to understand the real-world problems.

Course Considerations

Students must have completed ECON 20200/20210 or taken intermediate macroeconomics with calculus and have a basic understanding of econometrics.

Lectures will be recorded and asynchronously delivered. Students will be expected to watch each lecture prior to the evening discussion session.  There will also be a meeting on Monday, June 10 from 7:00-8:00 pm CST to discuss the course.
